The deadline for nonprofits to apply for Lee County Injury Prevention Coalition grants has been extended to July 25.
Nonprofit organizations in Lee County are invited to apply for public service grants, valued up to $15,000. The grants are offered under the auspices of Lee County Emergency Management.
Grants are for health and/or safety initiatives. Grants are for a new or expansion project that addresses a clearly defined audience and a documented injury or safety issue. The grant must be sustainable beyond the grant year.
Grant applications must be received no later than July 25, 2022. Applications are available from the Injury Prevention Coalition at [email protected]
The Lee County Injury Prevention Coalition serves as a collaborative or partnership effort whose function is to facilitate the work of partners and act as a catalyst for injury prevention initiatives. Its mission is to prevent injury, disability and death through advocacy, education, legislation and partnerships.
