WILMINGTON, Delaware, May 09, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The WSFS CARES Foundation, the charitable arm of WSFS Bank (WSFS), announced that it has awarded a five-year grant totaling $75,000 at the Homeland Center in Harrisburg, Pa., to support the organization’s Academy of Certified Practical Nurses (CNA) program.

Originally established as “Home for the Friendless” in 1867 to assist homeless widows and orphans in Harrisburg, Homeland Center has evolved over the years to form a non-profit, licensed retirement community offering exceptional personal and skilled nursing care. , Home Health, Home Care and Palliative Care Services.
