The Community Foundation for Southwest Washington has opened public nominations for its Philanthropist of the Year and Community Champion awards.

The Philanthropist of the Year Award recognizes individuals, couples, families or foundations who serve as examples of generosity in Southwestern Washington through their charitable support, leadership and outstanding service.

The Community Champion Award celebrates individuals or organizations who dedicate their time and talents to addressing Southwest Washington’s most pressing issues to improve the quality of life for area residents.

The deadline for submissions is April 7 at 5 p.m. More information and an online nomination form are available at cfsww.org/awards. The Community Foundation welcomes all applicants and aims to reflect and honor the many ways people care for communities in Southwestern Washington.

These awards are part of the suite of Southwest Washington Philanthropy Awards, which are presented at the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington’s annual celebration held from noon to 1:30 p.m. on June 7 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington. Tickets will be available for purchase online beginning April 1 at cfsww.org.
