Sheffield Charity supports City Hearts work with women and survivors of slavery

The As-Salaam Humanitarian Foundation has been working since August 2018 through fundraising, community development events and connecting donors with global projects.
The foundations aim to provide humanitarian assistance, relief and development globally with sincerity and compassion to save lives, reduce poverty and transform and empower local communities to protect the poor, the needy. and the vulnerable.
The project the foundation has been working on this month is the City Hearts charity. City Hearts, founded in 2005, strive to support South Yorkshire women facing life control issues, such as drug addiction. They also work with survivors of modern slavery which is the main focus of the project.
For this project, the As-Salaam Humanitarian Foundation donated just under £ 600 of new products, such as duvets, pillows and bedding, to the City Hearts charity and their beneficiaries.
One of the directors of the As-Salaam Foundation, Tariq Khan, said the association is happy to work with charities similar to theirs.
“We are happy to work with other charities that have similar purposes to ours. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Jed from City Hearts and we strive to continue our working relationship.
“We’re also always on the lookout for passionate, like-minded volunteers, so why not step in? “
The As-Salaam Humanitarian Foundation would like to thank all its sponsors including Sun Casa Properties Ltd for supporting their cause.
