Project Fibonacci Foundation Wins Online Competition, Grant

The Project Fibonacci Foundation Inc. has been selected as a recipient of a CNY Tuesdays weekly scholarship in the amount of $ 2,000 to assist with STEAM leadership training services in our region.
The Foundation, including nine other nonprofits, has been chosen as a finalist to campaign for the votes over a 5-day period before the votes are counted and the big winner is announced on Thursday, September 30.
CNY Tuesdays is a weekly campaign recognizing local nonprofit organizations. The campaign, organizers say, is a way to give voice to the many nonprofits that are making a difference in communities in central New York City. Adam Weitsman, owner of Upstate Shredding, and his daughter Clover, are behind the program, enabling featured organizations to further transform their communities through weekly grants of $ 2,000.
âSmaller but important victories like this lead to great victories for the benefit of the Foundation, the community of Rome and neighboring communities,â said Foundation president Andrew Drozd, who thanked all who voted for the Project Fibonacci Foundation and to continue to support its vision of enriched STEAM communities for a modern renaissance.
The vote totals for the nine online candidates have not been released.
