3 SoFlo spots turn colorful and give back to charity during Breast Cancer Awareness Month – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

October isn’t just black and orange for Halloween. Everything revolves around pink too! Breast Cancer Awareness Month kicks off tomorrow and Deco is checking out three SoFlo spots that turn colorful and give back to charity.
1-800-LUCKY in Wynwood goes pink for a good cause!
RJ McGuire, 1-800-LUCKY: “Throughout October we have some really great specials for pink cocktails and food in support of National Breast Cancer Month. “
Several places inside the dining room offer colorful specialties, like the Susan OG bowl from Poke OG!
RJ McGuire: “Tuna hamachi, cucumber, green onions, all tossed over white rice with a hot pink spicy mayonnaise on top!”
Yip is also tickled pink to help the community.
Check out these prawn balls!
There is also a new cocktail at the bar that will make you blush with joy.
RJ McGuire: “There’s a bit of Malibu, some fresh lemonade we make here and some fresh watermelon puree on top all shaken, it can be served as a shot or as a cocktail.
Guest: “The cocktail goes really well with the poke bowl and the shrimp dumpling. “
Don’t think rose, drink rose!
Lona Cocina & Tequileria on Fort Lauderdale Beach pops pink bottles for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Marla White, Lona Cocina & Tequileria: “In October we will be donating 50% of the proceeds of two specific drinks.
One of these drinks is flamingo rose wine.
You can get it by the glass or the bottle, and if you want something a little stronger, try the rose garden.
Marla White: “It’s made with Ketel One cucumber mint, dry vermouth, lime juice and raspberry puree.
Customer: “The drink is super sweet. I love the berries added to it and the cucumber.
There’s even more to come from 954 in October.
Circle House Coffee is very much in the battle to beat breast cancer.
Stephen Tulloch, Circle House Coffee: “So this month a portion of our proceeds goes to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. “
Circle House has sweet projects for your taste buds.
A strawberry basil CBD slushie is a groovy way to fill your glass, just like the pink strawberry latte.
Good news: there is more.
Stephen Tulloch: “We also have the cascara rose cream latte, which is a unique latte with no sugar, with antioxidants also involved. We also have our hot latte with our pink ribbon printed on the latte itself.
A creamy pink donut is the perfect partner for any drink, and you can also purchase a t-shirt to help the cause.
Guest: “I think this is a really tasty way to promote cancer awareness. “
All three locations will have their specials for the entire month of October.
A portion of the proceeds from the 1-800-LUCKY Pink Menu benefits several breast cancer foundations.
