Mind Series raises thousands of dollars to support better mental health

Paul Farmer, Managing Director of Mind, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the level of support shown by fans, players and staff during The Mind Series. We know how powerful platform football can be in creating change and the support from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to help us shine a light on mental health has been invaluable. Along with increased awareness, the series also exceeded all of our expectations for the amount of funds it has raised for our vital local and national services.
“Nationally, funds raised will help support our information line and other counseling services which have been inundated with inquiries since the start of the pandemic. Locally, proceeds from The Mind Series will help support Mind’s work in Haringey, Islington Mind, as well as Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing & Hounslow Mind, to support the mental health of local communities in partnership with respective club foundations. . . We would like to thank the fans once again for their generous support and say that whoever you support, Mind is here to support you.
Tottenham Hotspur are committed to ensuring that mental well-being is a priority at all levels of the Club. We are currently recruiting a mental health and emotional well-being manager to ensure that academy footballers, boys and girls, have access to mental health and well-being education.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our fans for their support of The Mind Series.
