Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries (MPDN) believes in giving back to our local communities and helping others where we can.
The Pepper Foundation Children’s Home Nursing Team, which provides lifesaving services to families in their homes, continues to support families in these unprecedented times and, due to the pandemic, is working harder than ever to protect the safety and well-being of these people. under their care.
To raise funds and raise awareness for foundations and their home nursing service, the Monkey Puzzle head office team and their franchise nurseries across the UK wore pink and purple on Wednesday 23 June.
Nursery children participated in pink and purple themed activities and the head office was celebrated with pink heart themed balloons representing the colors of the Pepper Foundation.
With the help of everyone at MPDN and the parents of the nursery kids, Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries raised £ 900, here are some of the ways the funds raised will help the Pepper Foundation:
- £ 10 will help pay for dedicated 24-hour care assistance, allowing parents to call a specialist nurse for help or advice in times of crisis.
- £ 25 covers one hour of specialist nursing care for a baby, child or young person, helping them to be cared for at home.
- £ 75 would fund a respite visit to give parents the opportunity to take time for themselves or give special attention to other children in the family.
